MV Agusta motorcycle key replacement & programming.
Lost your MV Agusta key, broken it in the ignition, or need a programmed spare? We come to you — driveway, parking lot, dealership lot, marina (for watercraft) — and cut and program your replacement key on-site. Schiranna, Italy. The Tamburini-designed F4 changed sportbike design language in 1999. MV Agusta is hand-built exotic — production volumes in the low thousands per year, not tens of thousands like Ducati. Family-owned with dealer-grade equipment in every truck since 2007.
What's specific about MV Agusta keys.
MV Agusta is the lowest-volume mainstream-distribution motorcycle brand we service. Production is measured in low thousands per year — compare to Ducati at 50,000+ — which means the aftermarket equipment ecosystem (programming tools, blank-key supply, service documentation) lags meaningfully behind brands like Ducati or BMW Motorrad. The F3 and Brutale 675/800 platforms have the broadest aftermarket coverage. F4 (especially the original Tamburini-era 1000s) and the limited-edition Superveloce / Dragster RR / RC trims are case-by-case — call with VIN before scheduling.
MV Agusta models we service most.
Coverage typically extends across the full MV Agusta lineup. If your model isn't listed, call us — we likely cover it.
MV Agusta motorcycle key pricing.
Mechanical / regular keys are flat-rate. Programmed keys (transponder, smart key, push-to-start) and all-keys-lost vary too much by year, model, and immobilizer system to publish a fixed range — quoted by phone before dispatch.
Whatever we quote on the phone is what you pay on arrival — key blank, cutting, on-site programming, dispatch all included. For the full motorcycle-services overview see the /motorcycle-keys parent page.
Common MV Agusta questions.
Why is MV Agusta service different from Ducati if both are Italian sportbikes?
Sales volume. Ducati moves 50,000+ units a year globally; MV Agusta moves a few thousand. That changes how aggressively aftermarket equipment vendors invest in coverage. Practically: more Ducatis we can finish on-site, more MV Agustas where we tell you to go to the importer service network.
F4 (the original Tamburini design) — still serviceable in 2026?
Yes for most years. The F4 1000 / 1078 (2005–2012 era) is actually better-supported by aftermarket tools than current production because it's been on the road long enough for the aftermarket to catch up. Newer F4 RR models — call ahead.
Limited-edition Superveloce or Dragster RC — different story?
Yes. Limited-edition MV trims often have model-year-specific immobilizer behavior that aftermarket libraries may not cover. We confirm by VIN before any limited-edition dispatch and tell you straight if it's a dealer job.
What's the importer / service network for MV Agusta in the US?
MV Agusta USA's authorized service network is concentrated in major metros (Northeast, Florida, Southern California, Texas). For service work we can't handle, we'll point you toward your closest authorized MV center rather than have you guessing.
