Ducati uses transponder immobilizers across the modern lineup, with keyless-go (proximity) systems on premium Panigale V4, Multistrada V4, Diavel, and Streetfighter trims. The keyless-go system uses a fob that handshakes with the bike's ECU within proximity range — no key insertion required. Programming requires Ducati-specific equipment that most generic locksmiths don't carry. We do.

Mechanical / regular keys are flat-rate. Programmed keys (transponder, smart key, push-to-start) and all-keys-lost vary too much by year, model, and immobilizer system to publish a fixed range — quoted by phone before dispatch.

Common Ducati questions.
Do you handle Ducati keyless-go?
Yes — Panigale V4, Multistrada V4, Diavel, and Streetfighter use Ducati's keyless-go. Programmed on-site with Ducati-specific equipment. Quoted by phone with year and VIN.
Can you do a Panigale V2 (the smaller Panigale)?
Yes — V2 uses Ducati transponder keys (not keyless-go on most trims). Programmed on-site, typical 45–75 minutes.
Multistrada V4 lost-key — towing required?
No — we program new keyless-go fobs on-site for Multistrada V4 without towing. We need year, VIN, and ownership documentation.
Older Monster or Hypermotard — different?
Older Monsters (pre-2014) often used simpler mechanical-with-transponder keys. Still within our coverage. Programming approach varies by year — bring VIN when you call.
