What's specific about Ferrari keys.

Ferrari uses bespoke immobilizer systems that vary substantially by model and year. Aftermarket equipment coverage is more limited than for VW Group or BMW Group brands. We do service Ferrari, but call availability needs to be confirmed before any dispatch — your VIN, model year, and key situation determine whether we can program on-site or whether the dealer is your better path. We tell you straight on the phone.

Dealer vs. mobile locksmith

Ferrari key — dealer vs. us.

We do the same programming as the Ferrari dealer, with the same dealer-grade equipment, on-site instead of at the service drive.

FAQ

Common Ferrari questions.

Can you actually replace a Ferrari key, or is this a dealer job?

It depends on the model and year. We do replace Ferrari keys on-site for many F8, Roma, Portofino, and 812 cases. Other models (especially current SF90, 296, Purosangue) may require dealer-network access we don't have. Call us with VIN — we tell you on the phone if we can or can't.

Why is Ferrari more restricted than other luxury brands?

Aftermarket programming-equipment vendors prioritize coverage by sales volume and brand cooperation. Ferrari's lower volumes plus tight key-control philosophy means our equipment libraries lag behind current production. We're honest about it.

What about older Ferrari (F430, 458, 599, 612)?

Older Ferrari models are generally better-supported by aftermarket equipment than current production. F430, 458, 599, and 612 are within our coverage for most cases. Bring VIN to confirm.

How long does a Ferrari key job take?

Where we can program on-site, typical job is 30–60 minutes including verification. We move slowly and carefully on Ferrari work — these are not cars to rush.
